Synopsis

Pizza may seem like just food to many, but it is way more to a do-it-yourself, detail-obsessed, rigorous artist, lost in the universe he has created for himself.

Anthony Mangieri has been making pizza for 21 years now. He began baking as a child, and his passion and rigor have driven him ever since. "Do a few things, but do them right" is his drive. Every day he makes fresh dough and serves pizza with the care and awareness of a monk; he believes perfection is achieved by subtracting ingredients and truth is to be searched in the simplest of things.
