Synopsis

Back in Iran, once when I was nine, my mother reminded me to wear my headscarf just because of a stranger. He was a man and I was a little girl who had to wear hijab to avoid his look from my hair and other parts of my body. Although I finally wore that scarf, but a painful feeling in me remained silent. After passing all those years of covering and hiding myself, I arrived in Sweden; I was supposed to be happy and enjoy the life with my hair and body revealed, but still I could find the painful feeling I used to have. To follow up and challenge this serious concern, I decided to take a journey into the lives of two Swedish women who would help me understand better how to deal with my inner conflict.
