Synopsis

The film starts in the trip from Sevilla to Linares, where Manolete stops in Córdoba to see his mother. He will be remembering some passages of his life.


During the 40's, in Spain, Manuel Rodríguez Sánchez, more popularly known as "Manolete", is the most famous of the matadors. Always on the road, he spends his life in the arena, and in lonely hotel rooms.


Despite his immense fame, he is a sober and reserved man. When he meets Lupe Sino, a sublime and myserious woman, his life turns upside down.


Where he once lived only to rise, Manolete now has a new quest in life.


This is the moving love story of a man who flirts with death, and a woman who loves life.
